An independent reference, not an emergency service or live warning feed.
Purpose and scope
Emergency Ready brings together Australian national contacts and NSW emergency resources. NSW-specific numbers, planning resources and recovery pathways are labelled. It is not a complete directory of every state, council or utility service.
Important limitations
- This site is independent and is not operated or endorsed by government or the linked services.
- It does not receive emergency requests, dispatch help, provide medical/legal advice or assess whether a route or location is safe.
- It does not display live warnings. Use official current sources and emergency-service directions.
- Links, hours, eligibility and service arrangements can change after the review date.
- For immediate danger or a life-threatening emergency, call 000.
Privacy and safety
The site has no analytics, advertising, account signup, embedded third-party maps or AI advice assistant. Search runs locally in your browser after its index loads. Fonts are hosted with the site. Hosting providers can still process ordinary request logs, and external resources have their own privacy policies.
Your browser may remember visits and preferences, and device/network records may remain. This is not a private browsing or quick-exit tool. See personal safety considerations.
Offline and printing
Important content is static HTML and can be read with JavaScript disabled. Search and mobile drawer interactions need JavaScript; an always-visible page directory is provided below for a no-script fallback. The deployed site does not install a service worker or promise offline access. Save or print essential details in advance and open current official warnings when connected.

Corrections and maintenance
This downloadable project has no configured reporting inbox or backend. The site owner does not publish their own contact route before offering corrections by email or form. Corrections can be submitted through the Github repository. Maintainers can edit the resource register and page templates, run the documented checks and rebuild.
